Facts:

Date:
March - May 2019
Location:
Florence Griswold Museum
96 Lyme St.
Old Lyme
Notes:
Jac Lahav was born in 1978 in Jerusalem and was 4 when his family moved to America. Growing up in Boston, he loved art. He remembers his mother bringing him to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. (In fact, the Monet painting of "La Japonaise" that he saw there has found its way into the skirt of Lahav's Afong Moy portrait on view at the Florence Griswold Museum.) He went on to earn his bachelor of arts degree in psychology at Wesleyan University in Middletown and his MFA in painting at Brooklyn College. He has had solo exhibitions at the Saginaw Art Museum in Michigan and The Longview Museum of Art in Texas.
